Aurice Guyton stepped onto an unexpected path of learning and producing events while living in a rural village in Belize, working for the Peace Corps.
It is here Aurice planned her first event – a nationwide product launch including the Prime Minister as a keynote speaker. The success of that event and ensuing media attention confirmed she had begun to lay the groundwork for her event marketing and planning business upon her return to the Bay Area.
With her MBA in hand, years of corporate marketing experience and a gift for turning a vision into a spectacular event, Aurice launched AG Events in 2010. Aurice specializes in corporate gatherings, galas, large-scale events, conferences, and festivals. She counts among her credits events that range in size from a few hundred, like the training event for President Obama’s White House Staff, to events organized for multinational corporations that accommodate thousands of attendees.
Born and raised in Oakland, California, and as a neighbor to Silicon Valley, Aurice’s goal is to always stay informed and up-to-date on the latest meeting technology and industry trends. She is a member of the ILEA and MPI. She has worked on projects locally in the Bay and Internationally. In her spare time you can find Aurice walking around Lake Merritt, taking long weekend trips for inspiration and relaxation, and cooking up her new favorite Pinterest meal. She, especially, loves spending time with her family and friends.
