Are You Leaving Event Guests Out in the Cold?

Ahhh! The crisp days of Fall – that time of year when wild temperature swings can send your event success meter in a tailspin if you haven’t taken steps to accommodate chilly guests. Mugs of mulled wine Here are four quick tips to make sure your guests are comfortable at your upcoming event:
  • Provide hot drinks like gourmet hot cocoa, spiced ciders and punch
  • Place patio heaters and decorative fire pits in outdoor spaces
  • Use scatter pillows and lap blankets on outdoor furniture for added warmth
  • Make sure to have a conveniently placed coat check so your guests can enjoy the event without having to lug their coat around the room

Hiring a Photographer for your Next Event?

Amazing Lineup of Events

…With more to come!

Oct. 5-6 – Oaktoberfest

It was a thrill this year to serve as the Vendor Coordinator for Oaktoberfest in Oakland, CA.  Our team also designed the layout and placement of the event elements and coordinated communications between the event and city services like fire, police, and medic. It was held in the Dimond District in Oakland and for the first time we sold out of vendor space at least two weeks before the event. Now that’s a result!

Oct. 12 – Built by Girls Summit

This event was held at the Uber ATG Building, an amazing industrial space in the Dogpatch area at Pier 70. Built by Girls, which is located in New York, needed an expert on the ground they could count on to make sure every detail was covered. My team and I enjoyed taking care of all on-site logistics and coordination for this amazing organization. The event was open to female and non-binary high school and college students and offered inspirational talks, peer networking, and interactive workshops.

Oct. 26 – The Best Me Conference

This conference will be at Mills College in Oakland, CA and is organized for Black women, by Black women. It has been a thrill to provide full event planning and logistics for the conference. The event has an exciting speaker lineup of bold, inspirational women like Congresswoman Barbara Lee and Sydel Curry-Lee. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.
